fight.

11 but you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12 fight the good fight of the faith. take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. -1 timothy 6:11-12

something we looked at this morning with all the leaders. even though we're always half asleep during these meetings, deep inside, this is probably my favorite time of the week.. saturday mornings. ^^

this is another passage that really touched my heart. paul instructs timothy to fight the good fight, to fleee from all this, to pursue all the good things in life and to take hold of the eternal life.

gahhh.. so many things came into mind... but the only words that kept coming out of my heart was asking God for strength to fight against Satan. seriously.. all these temptations in life that we face come from him. it's so hard to fight them. it's even more frustrating when your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are falling for these traps.

but to be able to fight the good fight means to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. the two that i have the most trouble with are love and endurance. sooooo many times where i want to give up trying.. but if Christ was able to endure the cross, we should be able to do anything through HIm who gives us alllll strength. and love. to love is one of the hardest things to do.. especially around a college campus where it's FULLLLLLLL of sin and temptations every single moment.

endure.

love.

just keeep your head up and pray. pray pray pray.

i don't know who reads my blogs, but i really hope that out of all my entries, you read this one. take time to reflect on how you're living your life right now. and just know, that i actually take time to pray for my brothers and sisters who have their lives centered around the world.

fight. do it for God. don't do it for yourself.
