showing everyone that He is my rock

24. therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25. the rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock. 26. but everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who build his house on sand. 27. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash. -Matthew 7:24-27




a few things came into mind as i was reading this passage.

through the bible, God gave us wisdom and knowledge of the word. this book that i carry to church every sunday.. i easily forget how powerful it is.

He gives us wisdom.. our job is to put His words into practice. we know what's right and wrong. let's show it. when we pray.. let's pray saying -Father give us strength. whatever thoughts we have, whatever actions we may take, whatever words may come out of our mouths... may those things reflect YOU alone- let's put some effort into being true to GOd <3

Christ is our Rock... like a wise man who built his house on the rock.. He's our foundation. He allows us to depend on Him. when life places you in the midst of those hurdles, He is our rock. even with the storms beating us up, He is our rock.
