Matthew 26: 69-75

the passage where peter denies Jesus threee times.

we're just like peter in a sense. for me, i still have a hard time letting people know about Christ. it's like what joe said in his sermon on sunday about evangelizing.. naturally, we're all good evangelizers. we just don't evangelize about christ. we make excuses for not doing it.

peter was accused of being seen with jesus by a whole bunch of non-followers. and when they approached him... what did he say??? he stated that he didn't know who jesus was...

in my scenerio, i don't directly say that i don't know who jesus is.. but i do tend to keep my relationship with Him a secret. unknown. but honestly,,, having a relationship with Christ is the BEST thing that can happen to someone... and yet, i keep it on the DL. sorta like what peter did.

and then,, it states that peter wept after denying jesus. it's extremely painful to think how much we break God's heart when we do things like this... or shall i say don't do enough.
