2 corinthians 4:9-10

9
persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
- often times, we feel as though christians get persecuted because we stand so strong in our morals. because we don't have the same foundations as non-christians do, sometimes, i feel as though people would point their fingers towards us and blame and make fun. despite this, we're never abandoned. God knows that we cannot live this world and take in the persecution and move on without His help. He shows us that He is with us every step of the way.

10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
- this is the basis of our faith. as we live our lives, the death of Jesus should be pressing at the core of hearts. with every move that we make in this world, He should be the reason why we choose to do the things that we do. if we make it a habit to keep Him in mind, His glory will be revealed to us. if we do this, us being persecuted or being struck down or the perplexions that we often get should not matter.
