this narrow path

2 Corinthians 4:8


⁸ We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair
-we get pressed. the first idea that came into mind as i read this was peer pressure. i'm 20 and i think i pretty much established my foundations in Christ; i still get pressured, but despite this, God saves me and pulls me out of situations He places me in.
-perplexed but not in despair-- if you know me well enough, then you know that there is always an internal battle within me.. is this or is this not the path God wants for me? we think God is one way, but He actually is the opposite way. in this way, we are perplexed. but this does not bring us to despair because we know that we are incorporating God into the picture
