ACTS 7:54-60
stephen-- one of the many biblical figures who stands up for the gospel,, not afraid/not ashamed to express God's glory, even if that means he's going to be ridiculed by society. verse 55 describes him as being "full of the HOly Spirit... looking up to the heavens and seeing the glory of God."
similarily with paul, peter, and the rest of the apostles-- they gave up their lives to make God known. their actions and words don't please the people on earth, but they do please God. and that's all that matters.
i wanna be able to do the same--- all for His glory, not mine or for the sake of society.
