i've been listening to this song and humming it unconsciously everywhere i go.
God's love is perfect. the end. really, i don't know where i'd be without God's love. i've never really taken the time to realize this,, until i started listening to this song. the reason why i love these lyrics so much is because it made me come to the realization of how great GOd's love is for us. sounds generic, yes, but we say "love".. and we think about meeting that significant other who we think is gonna provide us with that "perfect love.".. or loving our friends and family.. which is alll goood. but we fail to place God in this picture, when in reality, He's the perfect love that we've been searching for all along. it's right in front of us, and yet, we're too blind and ignorant to acknowledge it.
isn't it only fair that we lift up our hands to HIm? He provided this love for us.. HE sent HIS son to die for us when we don't deserve any of HIS blood.. but because HE did what HE did, He deserves our hearts and our praise.

Only when you are truly content with your life and relationship with God is when you are ready to start your relationship with someone else ie. a significant other :).
