"throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your heart to the Lord, the God of Isreal." - Joshua 24:23

i recently finished studying the book of Joshua. and as i read little bits of Joshua everday, i realized it all comes down to this simple command ======== > obey God.

the isrealites had no idea what they were doing. they had no idea what enemies they were up against. when was God gonna reward them with the promise land? why did He command them to march around jericho carrying trumpets for six days? if i were them,, i probably would have rebelled and questioned every instruction.

but the isrealites didn't question. they obeyed. they placed their heart to GOd. they had nothing, but they trusted HIM with their lives.

can we be more like themm??
