what are friends for???

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, his friend can help him up. -Ecclesiastes 4:9

part of being a good christian is to be a good friend. to be someone who encourages others when they're falling apart in school,, or if a friend had his/her heart broken,, or if life is just nott going the right way.

i feel like it has been a tough week for a lot of us,, it's only wed. (well, thursday morning noww) and i've had a couple friends call me up and just vent about how they're headed towards the wrong path. they would ask for help and comfortt.. even though i had noo words to make them feel better, just being the shoulder for them to cry on&listening to them was enough.

even for mee, i've been fighting with myself lately. it's been driving me up the walll! but earlier this week, one of my best friendss reached out to me,, asking me if i needed any prayers. and whatt did i tell him?? "cheahhhh! i could totally use some guidance about now."

like it says up there.. two are better than one.. it sounds soo generic,, it's common sense. but the fact that it came from the Word of God, it just makes the quote even powerful. He wants us to leann on others. He wants us to know that we're not alone in this world. there's at least one person for everyone to talk to. and in return,, be there for those who are suffering... pray for their broken hearts. and also, just keep reminding each other of God's grace.

two are better than one.... there's a reason God placed so many people on this planet... i say, take advantage of it.
