too many wonders

Psalm 40:5

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.



today was sort of refreshing for me. i had dinner with a friend who i have been close to ever since i came to college.. he and i had our ups and downs... and despite them, we're still such good friends in my opinion.. we havent had one on one time in a while since we're always in group settings,, at first i was sort of reluctant to meet up with him, but i'm really glad God let it happen. we talked about some stuff,, but just talking to him one on one made me realize something very very significant to my attitude towards my relationship with God...

so many times, i'm so caught up in the obstacles that God puts me through,, all the stress and troubled times that i completely forget about the numerous amount of wonders He has placed in our lives. one of them = good friends. good friends who truly care.. friends who can help you spiritually.. the more we fall, the more there is to realize how awesome our God is. instead of being sucha pessimist, lets lift our eyes towards heaven.. there's just so many glorious things He has done in this world, how can we not praise Him?
