this narrow path

Job 5:17-27


the more i read job, the more i realize that this is the book that we all need to read when we're struggling with life.

this passage is an excerpt of one of job's friends, Eliphaz, talking to him,, reassuring him that God is here for us. "do not despise the discipline of the Lord Almighty"... he sayss. because God knows exactly what He's doing.


¹⁹ From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you

with God by our side,, we're protected; we don't need fear when destruction comes; he heals us; he gives us security..

and lastly, eliphaz ends his speech by telling job (and to the rest of us) to apply this to our lives.
