revelation 2:1-7
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
in this passage, the good and the bad have been acknowledged of the church of Ephesus. the good consists of the perseverance and the dedication the church has shown in order to glorify God's kingdom. despite this, however, they have been rebuked for not repenting for their wrongs.
let's not forget that as we continue to serve God's kingdom, we are still human- therefore, we must rely on Him alone to get through this. along the way, we may make mistakes, trial and errors, build up regret. but let's stay humble and repent when we need to.
lastly, i wanna point out verse 7- the most significant of them all.. we as a church work together to fight the good fight, but we're only the body. without our HEAd, aka our Heavenly Father, then we are nothing and we make no progress. we can try to come up with all different types of solutions all we want, but we need to listen to God.. we need to pray that He would "unlock our deaf ears" and keep us going as we delve into the scripture.
let's keep fighting the good fight!
