BEATITUDE 2



"blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." -matthew 5:4


this week sorta stressed me out. i'm always looking forward to the weekend because i get to spend time doing church stuff and get to sleep a little more than i do on weekdays. but as excited as i am for another weekend, i'm gonna be runnning around again. so much for relaxing huh?? exhausted from school already and i just wanna lay in bed and do absolutely nothing =(

but jesus says.. "blessed are those who mourn."

i guess without without all that mourning,, where would our spiritual lives be? for me,, when i'm weak as i am now,, my spiritual life falls as well because i'm not able to praise Him with the praise that He deserves.

"....for they will be comforted."... this is where my faith is really tested. just having that faith that God will comfort you when you're the weakest.

but remember that this is the second beatitude that Jesus mentions in the sermon on the mount. as exhausted as i am right now, i guess i can't forget this mentality that God will never forget me.
