"but our citizenship is up in heaven. and we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ." - Philipians 3:20
exam weeekkkk! school's so stressful. i like to think to myself... "why do i stress out? what is it worth? what reward do i receive at the end for going through this?" times like these, i wonder what it's like to be in a utopia. a place where stress/worries are not everyday vocabulary words and where everything seems perfect. no.. where everything IS indeed, perfect. yeahh you know where i'm talking about.
during one of our leaders meetings, we were having a group discussion about how earth is our temporary home. it's not even a home to us. gloria mentioned how we're foreigners here on earth. our real home,, is up there, with our Father in Heaven. and heaven is our home =) and as hard as life is on earth, we gotta endure it. what else can we do?
we gotta face the truth in reality and persevere through whatever hardship we encounter, so that Jesus will come and take us back home.... relieve us from the stress, take all our worries away, mend the brokeness of the world and bring us to His Kingdom. like the passage says,,, "our citizenship is up in heaven."

yea, if we really knew where we were going in life we'd live our lives here much differently.
